About Therapy

Navigating life’s challenges isn’t easy.

I’ve spent over 30 years walking alongside people through the hardest corners of their lives, working in public systems, non-profits, and private practice. But what I bring to therapy isn’t just credentials. It’s a lived experience and the grit earned from rising, falling, and rising again.

Clients often say I’m easy to talk to. That I “seem to have lived several lifetimes.” A colleague once said, “You’ve risen from the ashes more than once, haven’t you?” I have. And I know many men have, too – quietly, privately, without applause. That’s why I do this work.

I specialize in helping men reclaim emotional health as a form of strength. Whether navigating stress, rebuilding relationships, or finding purpose, I offer a space where vulnerability isn’t weakness but a starting point for growth.

My approach blends deep empathy with directness. I challenge when needed, provide support, and tailor each session to the man before me.

Here’s what I bring to the table:

  • A carefrontational style: honest, grounded, and deeply respectful
  • Tools that work: CBT, CRM, Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, and Ketamine-assisted therapy
  • A masculine fluency: speaking the language of men’s pain, pride, and potential
  • A framework for growth: The Skaffold™ – a structured yet flexible model for self-care and emotional repair

Outside the office…

I recharge through photography, woodworking, biking, swimming, and soaking in hot tubs. These aren’t just hobbies but rituals of restoration. They remind me that healing isn’t just about insight. It’s about embodiment.

Let’s talk. You might wonder if I’m the right fit if you’ve read this far. The best way to find out is to talk. Consultations are always free. There is no pressure or pretense – just a conversation. Please book a consultation, and let’s start where you are.
